How Can VoIP Help Me Save Money?

I've been seeing lots of advertisements about how VoIP can help lessen your communication costs.  Some even claim users can make free calls.  What is VoIP anyway?  VoIP means Voice over Internet Protocol.  It is the general term used for technology which delivers voice communication over IP networks such as the Internet or other packet-switched networks.

How can this benefit me?  If you want to cut down some expenses especially for those long distance calls, you would want to use VoIP.  Instead of using a traditional telephone line which charges per-minute or second for long-distance calls, why not use the internet connection.  VoIP calls are charged per megabyte or per amount of information sent over the internet and not according to the time connected.  Hence, costs are lower.  If you already have a PC and internet connection, you can greatly benefit from using VoIP.  I've been using VoIP for making lower cost long distance calls, free chatting with friends online and even sending free SMS anywhere in the world.

Don't know how this VoIP works?  I found this site called TruVoIPBuzz.  It gives all the tips and tricks that you need to know about VoIP and gives reviews about services that will truly give you the most value for your money or get them free.  Check out this user-friendly site and start getting answers to all your VoIP questions.
