I Just Can't Take It Anymore! Book Giveaway

This is another giveaway post. But this time, the giveaway prize is a book entitled "I Just Can't Take It Anymore!" by Anthony DeStefano. Anthony is the author of one of my favorite children's story books "The Little Star."  He's giving me a review copy of his new book, I Just Can't Take It Anymore! and one free copy to my blog readers.

Do you feel that your life is messed up? Are you stressed out or hurting? If you lost a job or if you're battling with a disease or broken a relationship, then this book is for you. It can make you smile when you feel otherwise, encourage you when you are down and give you something to be hopeful and thankful for.

When I saw the sample pages with all the really beautiful pictures and descriptions (stories) that goes with it, I instantly liked it. Some of the pictures really made me laugh. Others made me identify with the emotions communicated. I'm certain, you will also like it.

If you want to win a free copy of this book shipped to you, then join this giveaway. The mechanics is really simple.
Read the embedded message by Anthony DeStefano below and see the following sample pages of the book. Then leave a comment on this post - a comment related to the book and not spammy (otherwise, I'll delete it). And, sign the inlinkz widget at the end of this post. I'll be using inlinkz to randomly pick the winner again.
I would appreciate it also, if you would follow this blog via RSS feeds or Google Friend Connect and like Stay at Home Blessings fan page on Facebook (please see this blog's sidebar). This giveaway will end January 31, 2012.

  1. this book is what we need to share with our loved ones and friends. with so many challenges happening around us, it is great to be reminded that life is more than THESE challenges. instead, we should remember to SMILE and draw strength from these TRIALS.

  2. In my latest post,I've listed some suggestions on "How to Deal with Loneliness." I should have included "Read Anthony DeStefano's I just can't take it anymore." Surely,it's a great book...a must-read for people who are dealing with loneliness.

  3. Aw, those pictures are sooo precious! Several got me LOLing (laugh-out-louding = new verb, hee). I definitely want a copy, not just because it's bound to be inspiring, entertaining and crazy-cute, but because how many times in the past months have I hormonally dramaqueened about being overwhelmed with the new baby, with going back to work full-time, with my first-born acting out, with my paranoia over certain people's judgment of my choice of lifestyle, particularly my way of parenting, with the expenses and certain deep (not dark) desires for my life... Anyway, yeah, it would be cool to win that book, :)
Btw, we don't need to blog about this as part of the mechanics, right?
    Awesome giveaway, Chin chin!

  5. @Chris, I agree with you that a SMILE is one of the things we can do when we are faced with challenges and trials.

@Ae Have you seen the pictures? They're really gonna make you smile and somehow you'll be less lonely.

@spinninglovelydays LOLing? Got to add that to my vocabulary, he he. New moms do go through crazy loops. Just keep holding on to Him.

@Techieshe, this one is an easy read because most are pictures.

    Thanks everyone for joining.

  6. As I was driving to work, listening to Teresa Tomeo and Anthony, one of his quotes made me laugh and and he instantly caught caught my attention, which made my 1-hour easier and stress-free. I am sure I will like this book very much, and I intend to buy a few copies to give to my children and friends. I already sent the link to my husband and suggested that he should order the Kindle edition for himself.

What's the Best Shampoo For Getting Rid of Head Lice?

When my family was staying in the Middle East, my daughters had no problems with head lice or “kuto.” A head louse (lice, plural) is a six-legged parasite that feeds on blood in the human head. Lice do not jump or fly, but crawl only. They do not carry any disease, but they suck blood and cause itchiness. Here’s a photo showing the life cycle of head lice.

When we came back to the Philipines, I was taken by surprise one day when I saw my daughters

Which Brand of Electric Fan Do You Recommend?

It’s really hot now and it’s so untimely that one of our fans gave up on us. We only have 2 working.  Actually, since we came here in the Philippines 2 years ago, we’ve already bought 6 fans and I’m not satisfied with how they worked for only a short time.

We bought 2 Standard industrial stand fans, one broke in less than a year while the other one is still working. We bought 1 Union desk fan and this one lasted 2 years. Then, we bought 1 Dowell stand fan because of a sale but then it was defective within one month. We brought it to their service center, they got it fixed but then the entire head (with the fan blade) of the fan flew off (nasira ang hinang).

My PureIt Excella Water Purifier Review

Last December, we bought a PureIt Excella water purifier at SM Megamall. After almost 7 months of using it, I can say that it was a good decision.

Why Buy a Water Purifier?
CONVENIENCE.

That is the primary reason I wanted to buy a water purifier. With a portable water purifier at home, I don’t have to ask my husband or my sons to buy mineral or filtered water at nearby water vendors. I know there are free home delivery services, but I think having our own water filter is still the most convenient. No calling. No waiting. No hassle.

The only question is which brand of water purifier should we buy? It’s a good thing we discovered …
